Irish American Cultural Institute Syracuse / CNY Chapter

The Irish American Cultural Institute Syracuse/CNY Chapter serves the Syracuse, NY community and surrounding Central New York region by providing comprehensive educational and cultural programming dedicated to Irish heritage and history. As a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Institute offers a diverse range of resources including virtual presentations, educational publications, cultural events, and community programs that explore language, literature, music, arts, and sports. The Syracuse chapter, established in 1985 and incorporated as a nonprofit in 2011, draws on the expertise of scholars, academics, and practitioners to deliver intellectually rigorous programming on topics spanning Irish history, emigration, cultural studies, and contemporary Irish affairs. Members gain access to archived presentations, exclusive virtual events, and publications like Eire-Ireland and the Duchas newsletter.
